A DEVELOPMENT WITH ART: GET TO KNOW THE PROJECTS SIGNED BY ZAH

A development with art improves more than just the property value: focusing on quality of life and well-being, it offers integration and inspiration in each environment

Including art in real estate developments may be seen as superfluous, however, it only takes a brief moment of reflection to understand that our homes are the most important places in our lives.

And, precisely because of this, it is more than essential to focus on strategies to increase the value of this space. Of course, we are not only talking about the financial value of the space, we are talking about value and what it can offer in terms of quality of life, well-being, inspiration and beauty.

Thus, when we create developments with art, we seek much more than simply adding more color to our developments. We seek to create an aura that inspires creativity, that hides a surprise in each space, that has the power to make our home a 'home sweet home.'

Come and see why creating a residential development with art is ZAH's focus.

What is a residential development with art?

"What a beautiful place!" Perhaps this is our first impression when we enter a residential development with art. And, whether for the owner or the team that developed the project, this comment is the most rewarding.

Each piece of art, painting, sculpture or graffiti seems almost like an embrace and awakens our emotions in an ambiance where we feel surrounded by good taste and care.

And it doesn't depend on whether you like art or not, whether you're a big fan or not, whether you frequent art spaces... and that’s because art can be many things.

When we include the concept of art in our projects, we seek to create a space where inspiration can be a part of our lives. We seek to create spaces where humans, in all their potential, can observe the works of art that are part of ZAH projects and really enjoy a fuller life, full of creativity, pleasure and well-being.

Why include art in ZAH projects?

Art is a means of communication, expression and elevation – whether sensorial, aesthetic or emotional – widely used by the humans.

From the most primitive civilizations, art is part of the daily life of humanity, either as a record of their daily lives, or as a form of sublimation of anguish, happiness, pleasure, love, sadness or other emotions.

So including art in a ZAH project was one of the easiest decisions we had to make. When we start to understand that art is not something that simply adds value to real estate, but rather makes it unique and exclusive, we understand that this is exactly what everyone needs in their homes: there, and nowhere else in the world, is our home and our freedom.

Get to know the artists

To create truly inspiring environments that exude creativity, we invited four incredible artists to be part of our team: Raffael Fernandes, Thiago Valdí, Julian Gallasch and Raphael Langowski.

Let’s get to know each of them.

Raffael Fernandes

Over his career of more than 13 years, the versatile artist Raffael Fernandes has sought to develop a unique, authentic and original style, which transits between visual arts and tattoos.

With a modern and minimalist style, he combines different optical effects with abstract art, offering his public unique creations that demonstrate the artist's unique way of exploring different facets of art. There are paintings on canvas, paintings on walls and even tattoos.

Raffael tells us that art breaks with paradigms and allows us to affirm ourselves as we truly are, challenging one’s mind to find answers and to seek its full manifestation and expression, without being afraid of breaking the rules.

Thiago Valdí

Dedicated to graffiti art since 2006, Thiago Valdí, a native of Santa Catarina, explores the urban spaces of cities such as Florianópolis, New York, Milan, Barcelona, New Jersey and Mumbai.

For the last six years, Valdí has been looking for inspiration in female faces, developing a unique way of creating portraits in his Mermaid face collection.

Thiago is among the 40 most important street artists in Brazil, according to the Scottish magazine Street Art 360, which is a reference for urban art.

His achievements don't stop there. The January 2017 edition of the magazine selected one of his works for the collection of the 10 best works of graffiti in the world.

Julian Gallasch

From an early age, Julian Gallasch showed a great interest in visual arts and, at the age of 12, he began studying graffiti. He has a degree in product design and has also worked with illustration and printing. Currently, playing with the limits between virtual and digital, Julian incorporates graphic and geometric elements in his work.

Time and his new artistic discoveries have shaped his work. Painting on canvas has led him to search for new artistic media.

Raphael Langowski

Raphael began painting in 1987. Raphael is also a designer by training. According to the artist, when we start looking inside ourselves, we start feeling the need to express what we are essentially. In this way, art becomes a vehicle for this expression, a way for us to communicate with the world.

And anything goes when it comes to inspiration. Anything. A smile, a rant, a laugh. Inspiration can come from small big moments.
